Solarpark Almere A27

Together with partner Energiecoöperatie De Groene Reus, Solar Proactive has developed the Almere solar park. The park will be built by its new owner, Novar, in 2025. It will be located along the A27, northeast of the Stichtse Bridge. The solar park will cover approximately 22 hectares and have an electrical capacity of about 25 MWp, supplying green electricity for around 7,800 households in Almere.

The landscape integration and the design of the solar park were coordinated in advance with the Municipality of Almere.

Biodiversity within the park will be optimized. The solar park is a large-scale energy project and makes a substantial contribution to the municipality’s goal of becoming energy-neutral by 2030.

De Groene Reus and Solar Proactive have worked together for two years to realize this solar park along the A27; the permit was issued by the municipality on 6 October 2021, and the SDE++ subsidy was awarded in February 2022. In addition, De Groene Reus is responsible for the participation process for this project, enabling residents and businesses in Almere and Flevoland to truly take part. Local collaboration is the key to sustainable success, which is why we are joining forces to ensure that residents of Almere and the surrounding area can benefit from this solar park.
